A decadent dessert turned into a nutritious breakfast. Raspberry cheesecake overnight oats are made with protein-rich Greek yogurt, fresh raspberries, vanilla and the perfect touch of sweetness for the ultimate breakfast treat.
I have always been and forever will be a morning person. The idea of a fresh start to the day combined with a hot cup of coffee is just so comforting to me. I usually always start my mornings with a workout followed by a hearty breakfast, coffee (x2) and some time to catch up on emails and blog-related work. I refer to it as my “zen time” because I do my best work with my utmost mental clarity first thing in the morning.
I’m also a firm believer in breakfast being the most important meal of the day. A nutritious breakfast can truly set the tone for a positive, productive day filled with other healthy decisions that feel effortless.
Though I have a strong feeling these oats will stay on my ‘favorites’ list for a record amount of time. I mean, what’s not to love about overnight oats in general? The chew, the ease, the flavor change up. Everything about them just speaks to my breakfast-loving soul.
So now multiply that love times infinity and that’s precisely how I feel about these raspberry CHEESECAKE oats. And trust me, I don’t use the word ‘cheesecake’ lightly. Between their ultra creamy, luscious texture to the invigorating taste of fresh raspberries and lemon, they 100% actually taste like the real thing. You may even find yourself sneaking a few bites for dessert, too.
But I wouldn’t know anything about that. 😉
I like to top them with crushed graham crackers to mimic traditional cheesecake crust and to add a delectable crunch. You could also add a dollop of cool whip or Greek yogurt, extra lemon zest or fresh mint for extra decadence.
For almost 7 grams of fiber and 9 grams of protein, cheesecake has never tasted this good.
